We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your animal companions healthy and happy:
Our focus is on keeping your animal family member as healthy and happy as possible. A full physical exam is performed by the doctor on every patient at every visit. One of our licensed veterinary technicians will take a complete history and tailor a wellness program for our healthy patients and provide important information to the doctor for our patients with concerns.
Some of the services we provide for DOGS and CATS include the following:
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs as an individual.
Surgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite, including a heated surgical table, continuous ECG, blood oxygen and blood pressure monitoring as well as 2 licensed veterinary technicians assigned to each surgical procedure for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures under the safest conditions.
Anesthesia: We utilize the newest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are continuously monitored and documented during all anesthetic procedures by both technicians. All patients have preoperative blood work including clotting time profiles. All patients receive intravenous catheters and IV fluids throughout their procedure to maintain the safest experience possible.
Internal medicine consults: We offer in-hospital referrals to several board certified internal medicine specialists who perform advanced ultrasound exams and endoscopic procedures to assist us in providing the most comprehensive care. We have an active referral relationship with Cornell University for pets that need the most specialized testing and treatment.
Radiology Services: Our on-site, digital high definition X-ray equipment provides the highest quality radiographs currently available to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders. Radiographs can .also be electronically submitted for board certified specialist evaluation and orthopedic consultations.
Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists via telemedicine.
Dentistry: Our dental services include digital dental x-rays, comprehensive teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions, sealant application and oral surgery. Referral to a local board certified veterinary dentist is also available when appropriate for root canals and other specialized dental procedures.
Laboratory: Our complete in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. Results are available with 15 minutes or less for the doctor's review. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
Oncology: we work with oncology specialists to help tailor programs for outpatient treatment of patients with cancer.
Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification.
Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets. Special medications are available through advanced notice.
Individualized Flea & Parasite Control Programs: We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.
Dietary Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

*After hours care We offer inpatient care for ongoing medical issues that can be successfully treated without having to transfer the pet to the emergency clinic. The doctors and staff will come in after normal hospital hours to provide continuing care for appropriate cases.
